I recently had the privilege of volunteering some of my time to assist the Hunts For Heroes organization with one of their fantastic projects, a duck and dove hunt in south Texas. Fourteen recovering veterans from San Antonio joined us for a week end that was memorable for many reasons.

HFH is a non profit organization, reliant on donations and volunteers, that provides an experience for these great guys that they will never forget. We hunted duck and dove, helped them in every way possible, then fed them, hung out around the camp fire and in a very small way thanked them for the sacrifices they have made for our great country.

I was so impressed with the organization I decided to try and assist them with raising funds for a new vehicle. This new bus will enable them to take wheelchair bound troops on these hunts, something they cannot do with their existing bus.
